"This Side..." is the debut official effort of this Finnish act (released back in 1998) and it shows a Black Metallish version of the works of such bands as AT THE GATES and IN FLAMES to name a few.
Basically, this is majestic and obscure Black Metal heavily spiced up by synths and piano passages, all performed mostly at mid-tempo speed.

All band members are skillful in handling their instruments and they definitely don't any lack imagination and creativity (this especially deals with those stunning piano arrangements). Not sure if this mini CD is still available via HellaRecords. However, you can contact directly the band if you are a fan of Swedish DeathMetal and you are craving for more originality.This band has it all. I enjoyed the listening process.
