Are you tired of reading the same questions and answers in music magazines time and again? Well now is the time to ask whatever has been bothering your mind, to reveal the darkest secrets of Elenium. We will choose an X amount of the questions and they will be published on this website as a special "fan interview". Of course we have the full authority to choose the questions we please so some sort of level is required. Even the stupidest questions do take part in the lottery though and may be rewarded with a Caught in a Wheel album. Send your question in english, please. We are proud to announce we have inked a deal with a new rising finnish record label, KAMPAS RECORDS. We are really looking forward to the co-operation after a long hard fight to get our new album out. Things have already been developing behind the curtains for some time and the 2nd Elenium album, "Caught in a Wheel" will be released during march 07. EleBoys: Well, well... We have been sending some promotional 3 or 4 track cd`s for labels around the world in order to get C.I.A.W released. One of those cd`s has now been reviewed and we can`t be too upset about it (although it`s been an unmastered version) because we got 5 / 5!!! We decided to give a little facelift to our humble home cave, and since the webmaster has been feeling pretty depressed lately - the elesite got a more depressed lay out as well. We also added 2 new & unreleased songs from Caught in a Wheel to our MySpace site so you`d better check them out. 01.12.06 Once again we have some bad news: The release of "CIAW" will still be delayed (again). The record label backtracked on the last minute and caused us a huge disappointment + made us waste 6 more months in the process of getting the album released. As some of you may have noticed earlier there has been tight co-operation between these bands for years (in waste) and J has already growled on some songs on earlier OG albums. Go niums! We would also like to wish Antti Filppu all the best with his future projects and thank him for the past years. Kyy`yl!!!And for all the suspicious ones: no, this will not have any negative affect on the life of Elenium. Finally we can with great pleasure announce that our 2nd baby, Caught in a Wheel will be mastered next tuesday ( 2.5.06 ) The mastering will take place at Chartmakers Studio by Svante Forsback, whose recent works include such names as: Apocalyptica, Stratovarius etc... Yes,
it is actually true. Kasperi Heikkinen of Elenium is helping the German
heavy metal band Gamma Ray out. Henjo Richter (GR's second guitarist)
accidentally hurt his hand just before Gamma Ray's show at Tavastia
16.1.2006. Knowing Kasperi's skills from his contributions for the Gamma
Ray tribute band Guardians of Mankind the GR guys invited him to help
out a little and he played the show through successfully. Kasperi will
play a couple of more shows in Norway and Sweden, too, before Henjo's
hand is recovered. Some pictures from the Tavastia show can be seen

11.12.05 Elenium filmed a video of the song "Up the Long Ladder" The
filming took place at Filmfotograferna AB`s studio, Helsinki. A huge
thank you to the whole crew!
The editing should be ready sometime at march 06. 17.08.05 "Caught in a Wheel" has now been succesfully recorded and mixed. The album still needs to be mastered. We are very satisfied with the way the album sounds! Once again a huge thank you goes to everyone at Sonic Pump, Nino Laurenne and mostly to our dear Max! Jussi Raatikainen, who played drums on our album and concerts for the last half year, decided to end his vacancy with Elenium. This is nothing personal. He just felt he wanted to concentrate on other things in his life. We truly apprecciate your services to us JR and let there be plenty of "isinmaitu" and other good things in your life in the future. We
already have a live drummer for the next couple gigs. We are proud to
announce that our mate Juhana Karlsson
from a great band called Amoral offered his blastbeating helping hands to us. See you on stage!!! 01.06.05 Today is the day! Elenium have entered the Sonic Pump Studio and are about to rock. The working title of the album is "a Bitter Beginning". Here are some songtitles: Human, To a Bitter Beginning, Of the Man Who Died, the Escalator, 12, Trail of Beggars 9 tracks coming. The album will be recorded by Nino "Thunderstone" Laurenne & Max Pain Heavy stuff guaranteed. We`ll do our best to keep some kind of a studio diary, so beware. 10.12.04 We have finished the writing of our 2nd album. The yet untitled album will include 9 tracks and we are VERY excited about the new material. We will enter Sonic Pump Studio in may. 27.10.04 Elenium have parted ways with their long time drummer Mikko Niemelä. The reasons behind the event were completely musical because Mikko is one of the easiest person to come along with. We truly appreciate all the blood, sweat and tears he's given to this band along the past 9 years and now we'll try to push Ele to the next level. May the force be with you, Migi! Elenium will have a session drummer at their shows during the autumn 04. Jussi Raatikainen from Thyestean Feast/Draugnim has offered his help to save the asses of Ele. The new drummer of Elenium will be selected after we've finished the Dead Achilles Tour in december with mates: Amoral, Omnium Gatherum, Kiuas and Manitou. 17.08.04 Pictures from our On the Rocks attack added to the gallery/live -section.
