You don't really need to look up the inlay booklet to figure that this lot hail from Finland. While they certainly aren't a traditional 'widdly-widdly' Children of Bodom type clone they do have that slick technical guitar and keyboard wizardry that seems mandatory now for all bands from Finland, but in this case it's a garnish rather than the main course.

Their style itself is harder to pin down precisely, blending elements of Opeth-esque Death / Doom, Amorphis-like Psychedelic flecked Heavy Metal and the Progressive aspects of anyone from Atheist to Alchemist. Add to this their already mentioned technical tendencies and the Crematory style blend of heavy crunch and uplifting melodies and you have a pretty satisfying album on your hands here.
