Tombstone

These guys are from Finland and this is their debut full length. The roots of their music are deeply into death metal, but they have influences from other styles as well. Progressive is another big influence for the guys since they have incorporated enough elements in their music.

They change the speed and the mood enough times into their songs, they have both clean and brutal vocals, plus their music is complex and technical enough. Their style is original enough and although there are still things that have to be improved (mainly concerning the song writing and the arrangements) the talent in the band is obvious.

The production is another thing that could be a bit better, since it is not very clear but with experience they will learn how to produce their albums better. If you want to hear something fresh in the death metal scene then check the guys out and you won’t be disappointed.
